Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Air Freight Sales Executive to join our team at DB Schenker. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute sales visits to existing and prospective customers, including telesales activities.
  • Enter all relevant data in our CRM system.
  • Ensure complete and current client information, including potential customers, trade lanes, decision makers, and communication records.
  • Manage the opportunity pipeline, including actual data and stages, and right-size the pipeline.
  • Review sales performance and prepare for sales meetings, weekly debriefs, and sales reviews.
  • Provide feedback on potential process improvements and stay up-to-date with local market trends.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers.
  • Identify new business potential and customers according to our defined Air Freight Field Sales strategy.
  • Create yearly sales planning for your customer portfolio.
  • Develop customers through cross-selling.
  • Support marketing campaigns by visiting target customers.
  • Coordinate with customer service on quotations and booking follow-ups.

Requirements

  • University graduate or above.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in foreign freight forwarding.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Knowledge of International Trade and relevant laws, regulations, processes, and procedures.
