Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled Project Control Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects across various sectors, including real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources.


About the Role


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project control, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry. You will be responsible for implementing project controls, providing proactive communication, and establishing service level agreements. Additionally, you will lead and participate in interactive planning sessions, ensure risk analysis and management, and work with cross-functional teams to develop resource plans.


Key Responsibilities



  • Implement project controls to ensure adherence to project requirements throughout the lifecycle.
  • Provide regular communication to project managers on project trends and progress.
  • Develop and maintain project control plans, procedures, and service level agreements.
  • Lead and participate in interactive planning sessions to establish visual performance management tools.
  • Ensure risk analysis and management are implemented effectively.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and update project resource plans.
  • Review and provide feedback on project control deliverables.
  • Liaise with Client Finance and stakeholders to ensure data is open, transparent, and meets corporate requirements.
  • Support procurement processes and coordinate with estimating resources.
  • Establish and implement quality assurance measures for project controls tasks and deliverables.
  • Onboard third-party organizations into Client systems and tools.
  • Contribute to lessons learned exercises and lead project controls-related initiatives as required.
  • Lead special projects initiatives to support project objectives.

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A degree in engineering or project management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in the construction industry, specifically in oil and gas, petrochem, pharma, commercial building, or semiconductor industries.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge in project control, planning, and/or construction management.
  • Awareness of cost and schedule quantitative risk analysis.
  • Understanding of estimating practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Proven team player with ability to work effectively with multiple project and management teams.
  • Ability to manage service providers for delivery of project controls services.
  • Willingness to perform work on project sites or at contractor office locations, with occasional business travel.
  • Bio-pharmaceutical experience and knowledge desirable.
  • Professional accreditation in field of expertise desirable.
  • Hands-on experience of quantitative risk analysis desirable.

What We Offer


We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
