We are a renowned luxury hotel chain, Shangri-La, seeking an exceptional Events and Meetings Coordinator Lead to join our esteemed team.

Job Description

This is a senior-level position responsible for coordinating all aspects of events and meetings, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement event strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance guest experiences
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution, including venue setup, catering, audio-visual services, and logistical arrangements
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to foster repeat business and referrals
  • Manage event budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to optimize revenue and minimize costs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve event delivery and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in event coordination or a related role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of delivering successful events, exceeding guest expectations, and driving revenue growth
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, as well as proficiency in local languages (depending on the location)
