Job Title: AV Function R&D Support Engineer for ADAS

We are seeking an experienced AV Function R&D Support Engineer for ADAS to join our team in China. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development, integration, testing, and delivery of Mobileye's ADAS & parking functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as Mobileye's technical expert for ADAS & parking functions, supporting development, integration, testing, and delivery activities.
  • Lead and execute ADAS & parking function V&V activities, coordinating resources from ME headquarters and China teams.
  • Plan and execute functional test cases based on function definitions, requirements, designs, and industry standards.
  • Generate evaluation reports, organize and track test issues, and perform close-loop validations.
  • Provide on-site support for OEMs' functional experience shaping and technical support activities.
  • Quickly respond to, locate, and solve technical issues on-site, managing issue-solving processes.
  • Arrange, install, and maintain testing tools and equipment on vehicles and in the field.
  • Utilize event data and extended test data for issue validations and KPI evaluations.
  • Organize and perform autonomous driving function demo and benchmark tests.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years' experience in technical roles in the automotive industry, preferably in production ADAS & parking functions' R&D and validation fields.
  • BA/BSc from a leading university (MSc/MBA is an advantage).
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) and fluent Chinese (written and spoken).
  • Engineering mindset, critical thinking, and hands-on capability.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AV & ADAS functions' definitions, characters, performances, corner cases, and assessments.
  • Rich experiences in ADAS & parking functional testing and evaluations, with great understandings of NCAP, ISO, i-VISTA, ECE, and other function evaluation procedures.
  • Good knowledge of vehicle EE & ECU components and proficient skills to use tools for CAN, Ethernet, diag, testing.
  • Good technical knowledge of AV data collection, transmission, processing, and analysis.
  • Willingness to frequently travel to Shanghai, Ningbo, Changchun, and other Mobileye global sites for customer support tasks and join domestic road-test trips.
  • C1/C2 driver license.
  • C++ or other coding capabilities - an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience with Linux OS - an advantage.
  • PM experiences - an advantage.
  • Worked with Mobileye - an advantage.
