Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Unit Director and Brand Team in all financial aspects to deliver sales and margin commitments.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact for the Business regarding sales, standard margin, dedicated P&L, performance variance, DSO, DoH, capital, budget, HC, Sales & Marketing Events, and more.
  • Manage BU P&L planning and reporting activities, including comments preparation, actual performance, LBE Forecast, S&OP, Annual Plan & Long-Range Plan.
  • Full and dedicated Brand P&L Management.
  • Leverage data and financial knowledge to provide the best analysis and scenario planning to contribute to decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Brand team, Commercial Operation, and Demand Planning to drive robust Brand To-market Sales forecasting.
  • Support Spend Optimization initiatives and drive higher ROI with reference to Investment & Pricing guidance.
  • Actively drive alignment and simplification within the affiliate finance department and with FSS/CoE/OEC.
  • Perform ad-hoc finance duties for the brand team and finance organization, including sales performance updates, commercial model consolidation, product P&Ls, expenses analysis, and more.
  • Lead or cooperate with stakeholders to manage BU-initiated projects and Global finance-initiated projects, such as BPC and PowerBi implementation.
  • Ensure financial results are recorded in compliance with AbbVie financial policies and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and China Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Support finance and compliance audits.

Stakeholders:

  • Primary: Affiliate Finance Director, Affiliate Business Director & brand team members, Affiliate FP&A Manager, Affiliate Finance Controller, Affiliate S&OP manager, Intercon Immunology Finance Business Partner, Intercon FP&A, FSS RTR.
  • Additional: Affiliate General Manager, Affiliate Medical Director, Affiliate Commercial Operation Director, Sales Force Effectiveness Immunology Business Partner, Human Resource Immunology Business Partner.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in a commercial environment and pharma/medical device business.
  • Controllership and/or Big 4 background is a plus.
  • Preferrable Undergraduate Degree in a Finance related field, either Finance/Accounting.
  • Excellent Excel (including Macros), PowerPoint skills and being conversant with various systems SAP, Hyperion, Cognos TM1 (Planning tool), and various Microsoft applications.
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English language.
