Job Title: Senior Regional Financial Business Partner

Maersk is seeking a Senior Regional Financial Business Partner to drive financial performance in an organisational area by providing leadership, guidance and support on financial information, business performance and implementation of strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business cases to drive financial performance and ensure execution of the business case including monitoring of savings/cost.
  • Coordinate the overall planning process for the functions including required alignment with CFO and the other functional controllers.
  • Ensure deadlines for planning and forecasting are met.
  • Set ambitious but realistic goals for target setting and consider relevant economic framework conditions.
  • Follow up on own performance for forecast setting and consider forecast accuracy.
  • Support simulations for different business scenarios.
  • Work closely with the functions to understand the business and the business need in form of reporting and KPIs.
  • Follow up with the functions on deviations versus target and forecast and ensure there is an understanding of why and that actions are taken.
  • Ensure qualitative management level communication to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead investment decision process in line with investment policy.
  • Review, help develop and sign off on investments before they go to management for formal approval process.
  • Help with or create financial modelling where necessary.
  • Keep track of all investments in one overview including status of each projects and report to management.
  • Support strategic decision making and pro-active advisory based on KPI's/BI. Translate business intelligence to stakeholders.
  • Work with other business partners, potentially sitting at the functions and reporting into this role.
  • Improve short and long term performance through relevant, accurate and timely reporting and analysis. Responsible for business intelligence and analytics to support decision making.
  • Create value based steering of the management team e.g. by supporting/providing predictive modelling, forecasting/extrapolation and or statistical analysis.
  • Support Cross Functional Capability Building through WCA Learns.
  • Build effective partnerships across critical stakeholders /teams across the organisations and drive results through collaboration in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or any related fields.
  • At least 5 years in a Finance Business Partnering role.
  • Experience in logistics industry is a plus.
  • CMA/CIMA certifications are good to have, but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and PowerBI is preferred.
  • Possess skills in business analysis and performance management.
  • Influencing with data and problem solving.
  • Product and Market understanding.
  • Data Strategy, Visualization and Analytics.
  • Partnering with the business; Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced/growth environment.
