China Finance Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual budgeting and monthly/weekly forecasts for commercial and manufacturing controllable financial documents, presenting to regional and global Leadership Team.
  • Lead regional FP&A work, collaborating closely with stakeholders and partners to support optimal decision making and drive operational performance and efficiency.
  • Closely observe pricing dynamics and drive margin expansion, supervising MFG costing status to make pricing proposals and initiate VAVE projects.
  • Ensure compliance with local and Corporate accounting policies and procedures, including finance reporting, tax, cash management, risk management, and transfer pricing.
  • Lead credit, collection, and payables, supporting management team to evaluate CAPEX programs and sustain best-in-class capital and assets performance.
  • Build a strong finance team, expanding talent bench across finance organization, including forecasting resource needs, recruiting, performance management, training, and growth.
  • Drive continuous operational programs to improve team effectiveness, velocity, accuracy, and insightfulness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field, with CPA and Big 4 experience preferred.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office applications and digital tools, with experience in Oracle/Hyperion a plus.
  • Comprehensive financial analysis skills, enabling evaluation of sophisticated business transactions.
  • Knowledge and experience of financial planning and business controls/SOX.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of attracting, deploying, and developing talents, with strong coaching, assessment, motivation, training, and empowerment skills.
