Job Summary:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial team to follow company SHE principles and engage in SHE initiatives.
  • Develop an effective network within the Synthomer group to support business objectives.
  • As a member of the China management team, lead the formulation and execution of business growth strategies in the Chinese market.
  • Develop market intelligence and respond to market dynamics.
  • Manage sales expenses and China commercial operations, including sales budget development, sales forecasting, and sales review.
  • Manage Synthomer China distribution channels, including distribution selection, performance review, and channel consolidation.
  • Steer Synthomer China marketing activities to support growth strategies.
  • Lead commercial excellence initiatives and work closely with China marketing to promote and strengthen the Synthomer brand.
  • Lead the sales team to work closely with finance and supply chain teams to manage net working capital.
  • Develop strong working relationships with major customers and implement key account management best practices.
  • Work closely with supporting functions to improve customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score.
  • Work with the technical team to ensure technical service resources are allocated in line with business strategy and objectives.
  • Comply with company policies, particularly regarding SHE, QM, and Code of Conduct.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a B2B sales leadership role in China.
  • Hands-on experience in sales management and commercial excellence.
  • Strong leadership skills in driving commercial team performance.
  • Track record of profitable sales growth.
  • International exposure, ideally gained from working in a foreign-owned company.
  • High level of written and spoken English.

Competency:

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation/communication skills.
  • Ethical understanding of the Western corporate context.
  • Financial and IT literacy.
