Job Title: Account Manager

Michelman is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow existing customer relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business needs and providing solutions to meet those needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Provide regular sales updates and insights to management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a science field such as Chemistry or Biology.
  • 8+ years of working experience with 3+ years in multi-national company experience.
  • 5+ years of specialty chemical sales experience or 3+ years of specialty chemical new business development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the market and industry contacts.
  • Deep understanding of formulated coatings for paper, film, and foil substrates, as well as, knowledge of application techniques and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fluent in oral and written English, good communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time for business travel domestically.
  • Able to perform job duties at remote locations such as industrial sites, chemical facilities, customer centers, and other locations.
