Job Description


This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced recruitment professional to join our Human Resources team at Cathay Pacific Airways Limited. As Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing regional talent acquisition and employer branding strategies to attract top talent and create a positive candidate experience.



Talent Attraction and Employer Branding



  • Develop and implement a comprehensive regional talent acquisition and employer branding strategy to drive business results
  • Ensure execution of a professional, brand-enhancing candidate experience through all recruitment and selection cycle touch-points
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the airline, promoting the regional employee value proposition to inspire candidates to apply for positions
  • Build relationships with relevant stakeholders to strengthen Cathay's employer branding in the region and attract top talent
  • Manage talent pools to create a pipeline of candidates for various roles (e.g., alumni, university, school engagements, internships)
  • Assist in developing policies, procedures, and processes related to sourcing, recruiting, promotion, transfer, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Leverage recruitment channels and improve sourcing effectiveness with the manager


Recruitment and Selection Process Excellence



  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment processes from discussing requirements with hiring managers to developing commercially focused assessment and selection processes, job advertisement creation, sourcing, screening, selecting, offering, and onboarding
  • Become an expert in various recruitment approaches and processes, including adopting new tools and technology aligned with the global talent acquisition strategy
  • Prioritize different roles and ensure time-to-fill measurement and optimization
  • Review job descriptions within corporate guidelines and post job advertisements effectively, clearly, and appealingly in compliance with local regulations
  • Provide expertise in interpreting test results, shortlists, interviews, and measured assessment centre performance
  • Conduct full reference and background checks to ensure quality hires and risk minimization
  • Lead the offer process, including salary negotiation
  • Manage internal promotion and progression programmes and activities as required


Onboarding and Offboarding



  • Ensure engaging onboarding processes delivered with a local context that brings the Cathay brand to life
  • Complete regulatory training and monitor Brushwingers' completion for eLearning and other safety or induction-related training
  • Manage smooth offboarding processes leaving a positive lasting impression on exiting employees


Other Responsibilities



  • Participate in HR/talent acquisition projects as required
  • Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned
  • Emergency & Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required


Requirements


To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant discipline
  • 5-7 years' relevant experience in HR, with at least 4 years in recruitment and solid experience in recruitment agency
  • Experience leading high-volume recruitment activity
  • Experience running competency-based and technical interviews and using other assessment and selection tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in both English and Mandarin
  • Strong influencing skills and stakeholder engagement and management ability
  • Strong planning skills with high attention to detail
  • High energy and motivational style
  • Strong cultural sensitivity and respect
  • Efficient and able to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
