Role Overview

The China Sales Team at Nova Ltd. is seeking a skilled Technical Manager to join our Shanghai-based team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting pre and post-sales activities for our Materials Metrology products across China accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Understand the competitive landscape and market trends, maintaining the gross margin while closing deals with our distributor and helping them successfully penetrate strategic accounts.
  2. Market our Material Metrology products to all strategic customers in China and deliver the company's value proposition.
  3. Work with various stakeholders within the company to effectively execute strategies, achieve business objectives, and annual revenue goals. Align and manage distributor and their sales teams to achieve the company's business objectives.
  4. Provide technical direction on business decisions and execution of specific projects. Manage our distributor's resources and lead projects to their successful completion, building a technical relationship with members of distributor's service and application teams in the process.
  5. Create strong and direct relationships with key customers' stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels. Identify and solve customers' issues strategically, promoting the company and its products' values in the process.
  6. Communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams for both technical and non-technical audiences. Work with internal teams on behalf of customers to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  7. Liaise with MMD marketing to customize decks needed for marketing or technical review sessions with customers. Lead and conduct pre-sales activities.
  8. Maintain and provide weekly reports to the Country Manager/Sales VP on customers' activities, competitive landscape, and revenue updates.
  9. Conduct monthly reviews and communicate vital information to MMD HQ.
  10. Support pre-sale activities, prioritize, and manage all MMD projects.
  11. Work with the application team to explore and develop new applications, creating business opportunities. Conduct technical review meetings/seminars with customers, marketing products and solutions, increasing company visibility.
