Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance Procurement Transparency: Develop, maintain, and refine the objectivity and clarity of procurement activities in relation to financial statement outcomes.
  • Support Financial Reporting: Assist in month-end closing and reporting obligations for financial data, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Conduct Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis and generate monthly reports comparing budgeted and forecasted expenses to actual expenditures.
  • Evaluate Financial Performance: Assess actual results and project their influence on the overall annual operating plan.
  • Budget Preparation: Prepare budgets and forecasts for net materials, VAVE, and indirect materials, collaborating with Purchasing to align with corporate goals.
  • Cost Reduction Initiatives: Support cross-functional lean teams in cost reduction efforts, including financial analysis and validation of realized savings.
  • Engagement in Special Projects: Participate in special projects as required or assigned.
  • Financial Consolidation: Manage financial consolidation and analytics for the regional annual budget and forecasts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.
  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on revenue and material performance, covering long-term agreements, volume rebates, cost reductions, and economic impacts.
  • Timely Financial Data Availability: Ensure that accurate and timely financial data is accessible to support decision-making processes.
  • Ad Hoc Requests: Address special projects and ad hoc requests as necessary.
  • Flexibility in Duties: Occasionally perform duties outside of those specified in this description.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Promote a data-driven decision-making culture by actively sharing insights and building trust across various functions.
  • Collaboration with Team: Work alongside the team to eliminate manual reporting tasks.
  • Data Insights: Provide analytical insights to address the root causes of issues.
  • Global Collaboration: Support global harmonization and teamwork.
