Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our tax compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of tax filings for our China entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit tax computations and returns, tax settlements, and tax registration updates as required.
  • Coordinate with local tax bureaus to ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws.
  • Assist in the review of annual tax filing packages prepared by external tax advisors.
  • Collaborate with other functional teams to collect and collate required data and information.
  • Work with the manager to improve tax compliance processes and procedures.
  • Support the manager in addressing ad-hoc queries and notice requests from local tax bureaus.
  • Support the manager in regional or HQ compliance reporting requirements.
  • Assist in providing information and support to other teams within or outside Tax.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records and supporting documents.
  • Develop and maintain cordial and professional relationships with local tax bureaus.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a full-time tax professional or accountant with sufficient tax experience for multinational companies.
  • Advanced knowledge in tax, accounting, and finance, with familiarity with prevailing tax and accounting regulations and tax practices in China.
  • Familiarity with accounting practices and systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, proactive, and dedicated.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax, or related field.
  • Fluent in English, written and oral.
