Key Responsibilities:

As the account owner for Applied Materials, you will be responsible for representing the company to customers and communicating customer needs to product business group representatives.

  • Identify customer needs and develop sales strategies to meet those needs.
  • Present Applied Materials' product offerings and coordinate customer demonstrations with product business group representatives.
  • Communicate and present Applied Materials' product roadmaps and capabilities to customers, as well as customer technology needs to product business group representatives.
  • Prepare pricing quotes and negotiate final prices.

Functional Knowledge:

  • Demonstrate conceptual and practical expertise in sales and related disciplines.

Business Expertise:

  • Have knowledge of best practices and how sales integrates with other business functions.

Leadership:

  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and lead small projects.

Problem Solving:

  • Solve complex sales-related problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions.

Impact:

  • Impact customer, operational, project or service activities within the sales team and other related teams.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Explain difficult or sensitive information to customers and work to build consensus.
