Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Intellectual Property Intern to join our team in China. As a key member of our intellectual property department, you will be responsible for supporting the management of our trademark portfolio, coordinating with local business teams, and providing high-quality documentation to support various legal actions.

About the Role:

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of commercial activities involving intellectual properties (IPs), including marketing promotions, merchandise sales, and related evidence.
  • Coordinate requests from local business teams, provide IP documents (trademark certificates, copyright certificates, chain of titles, etc.), and maintain organized records.
  • Maintain databases of case/litigation files, trademarks portfolio, authorized online stores portfolio, and other relevant information.
  • Assist in online monitoring and enforcement programs, coordinate with local creative teams, and provide authentication results.
  • Perform research and analysis on specific legal issues, as well as conduct online research to locate necessary materials for trademark prosecution matters.
  • Additional responsibilities may include performing ad hoc tasks assigned by the China legal team.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate (3rd or 4th year) or Master graduate from a top university in China, with a strong background in law.
  • Proficient command of English (both written and oral), with excellent legal writing skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Strong computer skills to facilitate document consolidation and collation.
  • Able to work at least 4 days per week, ideally 5 days, and commit to an internship of at least 6 months or longer.
  • Prior internship experience in a multinational corporation or top law firm is an advantage.
  • Fast learner with good teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.

Compensation and Benefits:
