Highly Experienced Intellectual Property Lawyer for Rouse

We are seeking a highly experienced intellectual property lawyer to join our team at Rouse. As an IP Associate, you will play a key role in providing high-level legal services to clients and managing a team.
About the RoleThe position involves working closely with the China Dispute Resolution Group and other practice groups to serve and expand our services to clients. You will be responsible for providing a full range of IP legal services, including:
- Handling the day-to-day conduct of individual cases and components of larger cases under the direction and supervision of senior staff.
- Taking responsibility for direct communications with clients and third parties.
- Supervising and supporting the work of junior staff and colleagues.
- Contributing individually or in a team to strategic planning and implementation of client casework and business development initiatives.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring client development plans and reporting on marketing initiatives.
- Supporting partners to generate more work and developing BD capability to write articles, presentations, speeches, and pitches.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A qualified law degree with at least 5 years of experience in the IP field.
- Fluent spoken and written English skills (TEM 8 level or above).
- Excellent communication skills with diverse nationalities, backgrounds, and positions within companies.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Patient, detail-minded, initiative, and self-disciplined.
- Ability to work under pressure and as a team player.
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
As a highly experienced intellectual property lawyer, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience.
