Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Affairs Specialist to join our team at Airbus (China) Enterprise Management and Services Co. Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with key government organizations in China, promoting Airbus' image and credibility, and providing strategic advice to support the company's business strategy in China.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key government organizations in China, including the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
  • Monitor and analyze government policies, plans, and regulatory environments that may impact Airbus' business in China, and provide strategic advice to support the company's business strategy.
  • Provide guidance and advice to other functions within Airbus on relevant protocols and formalities required by Chinese government organizations.
  • Foster communication with authorities to support deliveries and sales, and develop and maintain a mapping and network of relative administrative stakeholders in central and provincial governments.
  • Conduct daily communication with central government bodies, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), and the Ministry of Transport (MOT).
  • Anticipate and analyze political issues, risks, and opportunities that may develop in Airbus China, and provide recommendations to support the company's business strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field, with at least 10 years of experience in public affairs, public relations, or a related field.
  • Prior working experience in a relevant government organization is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the policy, regulatory, and geopolitical landscape in China.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with fluency in English and Chinese.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
