Manager of Market Strategy

Overview
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and prioritizing market opportunities. This role involves planning initiatives and participating in field events to drive sales growth for Shure Incorporated products within targeted market segments. The incumbent will also provide training to Distribution Centers and Dealers on effective program implementation. Additionally, the role includes gathering customer insights and feedback regarding Shure products, programs, and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and evaluate market leads and opportunities to engage potential customers.
- Discover new market segments and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to manage relationships with pro-audio consultants and maintain strong connections with pro-audio clients.
- Organize and conduct training sessions for Distribution Centers, System Integrators, Consultants, and Dealers to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Offer support to Distributors and System Integrators during project bidding processes.
- Work in partnership with the marketing team to arrange conferences, seminars, clinics, and other special events.
- Coordinate with Applications Engineers to facilitate Technical Training and Commissioning for end-users post-project completion.
- Provide valuable insights to the Product Marketing and Sales teams regarding product lines and competitive landscape from a Market Development perspective.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience as a seasoned professional with extensive technical knowledge of audio principles and products.
- Experience in sound system design and/or the audio sector within the broadcast and performing arts industries is preferred.
- Familiarity with procurement and bidding processes is advantageous.
- Knowledge or experience in channel management within Installation and Broadcast markets is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across diverse scenarios.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese, with effective communication abilities at all organizational levels.
- Capable of multi-tasking, detail-oriented, well-organized, and proficient in time management.
- Proficient in computer applications; experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% annually.
