**Position Overview**

This position will focus on developing new materials and technologies in the Textile Division Asia. You will report to the Asia Technical Manager and support the overall growth initiatives within the Textile Division.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify and develop new materials and technologies.
  • Perform tests internally and externally to validate ideas and products' feasibility.
  • Support the development team and manufacturing partners from lab/prototype to full scale production.
  • Continuously seek improvement opportunities in areas of efficiency, automation, cost reduction, quality, and process improvement.
  • Scout new technologies to expand the product portfolio and businesses.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Materials/Polymer Science and Engineering.
  • Above 7 years' work experience of product testing and development.
  • Strong interest in new materials and technologies.
  • Proactive, self-starter, highly motivated with good organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of textile materials is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
