About the Role
Molex is seeking a skilled Lab Metrology Technician to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct first-article dimension inspections and create detailed reports.
- Perform annual inspections and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure dimensional accuracy and capability studies.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in 7S maintenance initiatives to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Graduate from a technical secondary school or equivalent.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
- Mold, mechanical, or equivalent experience.
- Dimension measurement experience.
- Proficiency in using tooling microscopes, QV, OGP, or CMM.
- Basic English language skills.
