Automation Systems Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our Automation Systems sales efforts in North China. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth in North China.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the region.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Valmet's automation systems and products to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective sales and delivery processes.
  • Ensure profitable sales by achieving set gross margins and implementing the company's sales and delivery process development.
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Understand and strictly follow Company's Rules, Regulations, Policies, Instructions and Procedure to avoid unnecessary conflicts and to reach expected behavior and job performance.
    • Awareness of local relevant quality system.
    • Arranges and/or delivers proper training or coaching for subordinates to ensure they have the necessary knowledge, skills and ability to do their jobs.
    • Defines and/or explains clear work procedure and instructions for subordinates and also supervises subordinates closely to ensure their strict following.
    • Sets and explains clear competency and performance standards to subordinates and evaluates subordinates based on actual performance and also provides constructive feedback when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Over 3 years of working experience as sales; experience in a paper mill is preferred.
  • Bachelor degree or higher, majoring in Automation or P&P.
  • Strong ability to identify sales opportunities, build and maintain good relationships with customers, and conduct critical negotiations to secure sales deals.
  • Good at English communication, both spoken and written.
  • Good knowledge of Valmet automation systems and products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
