Your Responsibilities
As a Sales Engineer, your key duties will include:
- Conducting comprehensive SWOT analyses for your designated market, gathering insights on competitors, potential market size, current market share, and customer feedback.
- Proactively identifying and pursuing new customer targets and sales opportunities within your territory.
- Planning and executing sales initiatives such as demonstrations, seminars, and audits to understand customer needs and convert opportunities into sales.
- Effectively promoting new products and automation solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Collaborating with customers and project teams to gather requirements, analyze applications, and deliver solutions that provide value.
- Working alongside the marketing team on market activities and analyses.
- Partnering with service and project teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Engaging with the finance department to enhance the management of receivables and overdue accounts.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Identifying, selecting, and managing distributors as necessary.
- Providing timely and accurate reports through Salesforce.
- Continuously enhancing your professional skills, competencies, and personal development.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A college degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
- A minimum of three years of sales experience.
- Experience in the industrial or machinery sector is essential.
- Experience selling premium brands is preferred.
Skills and Attributes
Successful candidates will possess:
- Knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in PC applications.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
