About the Role

The Python Engineering Lead will be responsible for leading the development of complex software products, providing input to project plans, schedules, and methodology, and mentoring team members. This role requires strong technical leadership skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Design, architect, prototype, implement, deploy, and maintain features for AI-related projects
  • Conduct experiments on large datasets to evaluate the feasibility, results, and performance of AI techniques
  • Make sound engineering decisions and improve software development practices while focusing on performance and reliability
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology developments and apply them to improve software development practices
Requirements
  • At least 7+ years of Software Engineering experience as a team leader or team mentor in a mid to large technical company
  • Experience in big data technology, including Spark, Flink, Kafka, etc.
  • Experience in working with at least one programming language, including Python, Java, C#, C++, SQL, etc.
  • Experience in public cloud AWS, and related technology, including Docker, K8S, CICD, etc.
  • Good sense of software architecture design, application scaling, performance, and security
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
