Key Responsibilities

  • Steer the formulation and implementation of AI strategies, pinpointing avenues for AI incorporation and utilizing AI technologies to enhance business expansion and innovation; primary focus areas include data analytics, simulation, and Generative Artificial Intelligence.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams, encompassing engineering, data science, ADAS, product development, and various business units, to promote the adoption of AI technologies throughout the organization.
  • Supervise the architecture and deployment of AI-driven systems, such as predictive analytics, natural language processing, machine learning, and computer vision, to align with business goals.
  • Perform market analysis and keep informed on industry developments to uncover new prospects for AI integration and evaluate the competitive landscape.
  • Establish strategic objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for AI projects, monitoring the efficacy of AI systems to ensure alignment with business goals and value delivery.
  • Oversee budgeting, resource distribution, and talent development to foster the growth and success of AI initiatives within the organization.
  • Adapt cloud infrastructure to comply with regulatory requirements and technical standards.
  • Facilitate business development, technical dialogue with clients, and proposal preparation in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Collaborate with international branches of the Porsche Engineering Group.
  • Represent the AI and Data Engineering division in pertinent committees.
  • Champion the establishment of data-centric methodologies, processes, guidelines, and best practices in the field.
  • Accountable for managing and tracking control variables such as resource utilization, costs, timelines, quality, and technology.
  • Responsible for planning resources, investments, and budgets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related discipline; a Ph.D. in AI or a related field is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in AI and data engineering projects, with a robust understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, LLM, Generative AI, and computer vision.
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience complemented by strong leadership capabilities.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving the development and execution of AI-powered products and solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and drafting service architectures in preferred cloud infrastructures, such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience in handling large datasets and proficiency in SQL.
  • Strong programming expertise in Python and experience with Unix/PowerShell scripting.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate business requirements into AI strategies and initiatives.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Awareness of industry best practices and emerging trends in AI, along with experience in formulating and executing AI strategies in a corporate environment.
