AIIB Communications Strategist

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank AIIB is a leading multilateral development bank dedicated to financing sustainable infrastructure in Asia and beyond. As a key member of the Communications Department, you will play a vital role in advancing AIIB's mission by crafting compelling narratives and strategic communications that build trust with stakeholders worldwide.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Communications Analyst to support the planning and execution of high-impact communication initiatives that enhance AIIB's reputation, visibility, and brand equity. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented early-career communications professional to contribute meaningfully to AIIB's mission of creating a prosperous and sustainable Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Campaign Implementation: Assist in the development and execution of integrated communications campaigns across digital and traditional channels, ensuring seamless alignment and effective tracking of performance metrics.
• Content Development: Research and create engaging content in various formats, including media materials, social posts, website content, newsletters, and executive communications, while maintaining organizational messaging and accuracy.
• Content Calendar Management: Manage and update content calendars across multiple channels, coordinate with stakeholders, track development status, liaise with creative teams and vendors, manage approval processes, and identify content opportunities.
• Media Support: Facilitate communication across departments and stakeholders, coordinating interviews, providing logistical support for media engagement at events, and ensuring accurate information for media coverage.
• Internal Branding Initiatives: Support brand awareness and positioning projects, coordinate award submissions and industry recognition opportunities, maintain brand guidelines, support external partnership communications, and contribute to internal brand education efforts.
Requirements
We seek candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, political science, economics/finance, international relations, public affairs, or a related field. Relevant experience includes 2-3 years for Bachelor's degree holders and 1-2 years for Master's degree holders. A preferred background in campaign/content development and/or communications/media relations roles within the public or private sector is also desired.

• Communication skills: Proficient in written and verbal English; knowledge of additional languages spoken in AIIB member countries is an advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with communication tools, social media platforms, and analytics tools is desirable.
