NDT Inspector Opportunities in China

Job Overview
SBM Offshore is seeking an experienced NDT Inspector to join our team. As an NDT Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing on site and with subcontractors in line with different NDT standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan, set-up, and execute tests independently, adhering to various NDT standards.
- Perform NDT as per ITP and request from QC Inspectors.
- Evaluate and interpret NDT results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and company procedures.
- Prepare NDT reports and certify results.
- Maintain NDT equipment and instruments in good condition.
- Verify calibration of NDT instruments periodically, as required by codes.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, SBM Offshore offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Requirements
- High School/Technical School diploma with 5 years of work experience in the Gas and Oil Industry.
- NDT Level 2 certificate (PCN, ACCP, or equivalent).
- Experience in fabrication, construction, QA/QC, and inspection of pressure piping and structural steel works.
- Familiarity with preparation of NDT reports and calibration of NDT instruments.
- Practical experience in penetrant testing, magnetic particle testing, ultrasonic testing, and review/interpretation of radiography films.
- Knowledge of construction drawings, welding, materials, and various NDT standards.
- Excellent communication skills and awareness of ISO Quality System requirements.
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written, and proficiency in MS Office.
