We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Project Quality Manager/Lead to oversee the quality aspects of new product delivery projects and continuous improvement initiatives for mature products.

Key Responsibilities:

New Product Delivery:

  • Lead quality assurance activities during the new product development phase.
  • Develop and implement product quality plans, protocols, and control processes.
  • Member of cross-functional Project Leadership Team – Ensuring quality standards are integrated into product designs.
  • Quality's voice in the design reviews and Milestone reviews – Ensuring risks are clearly articulated and mitigation strategy is plausible and robust.
  • Oversee the execution of product validation and verification activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives for mature products.
  • Analyse product performance data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to enhance product reliability and performance.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of improvement activities.
  • Provide training and support to staff on quality-related topics.
  • Lead and facilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.

Capabilities and Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role or relevant Technical roles within a product development environment. Experience in the consumer electronics or technology industry is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in Technical Project/Program management with PMP certification preferred. Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g. DfX, FMEA, Six Sigma, 8D, SPC). Experience with product validation and verification processes. Experience with Process/Design Risk assessment and mitigation. Experience with Supplier Management in Quality and/or Development functions. Familiarity with reliability engineering principles and practices.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Assertiveness to safeguard product quality. Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvements.
