Job Summary

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences in the catering and social business segment. This role requires a strong understanding of the market, competitors, and customer needs, as well as excellent negotiation and sales skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sales efforts for the hotel, including local corporate and social catering

• Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated and complementary

• Identify, qualify, and solicit new catering business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals

• Develop and sell creative catered events

• Maximize revenue by up-selling packages and creative food and beverage

• Manage catering sales revenue and operation budgets, and provide forecasting reports

• Develop menus that drive sales

• Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked

• Participate in and practice daily service basics of the brand

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional

OR

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required
