**Job Summary:**

Aristotle Teachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Literacy Educator to join our vibrant educational community. The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers, administrators, and staff to enhance literacy instruction, develop strategies for struggling readers, and support the overall improvement of literacy outcomes across the primary school.

**Salary and Benefits:**

We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package, estimated at $62,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include paid winter and summer vacations, public holidays, contract fulfillment bonus, international cover health insurance, social insurance, medical insurance, flights to school from point of origin, relocation allowance, visa fees covered by the school, free on-campus lodging or housing allowance, annual flight allowance, meals, education for dependents, professional development opportunities, and rich staff activities.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to develop, implement, and improve literacy instruction strategies in alignment with the school's curriculum and literacy goals.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and modeling to classroom teachers on best practices for literacy instruction, differentiation, and interventions.
  • Facilitate professional development sessions, workshops, and literacy-related training for staff.
  • Analyze literacy data to identify trends, monitor progress, and inform instruction decisions for improved student outcomes.
  • Work with administration to align literacy goals with school-wide initiatives and ensure that literacy programs are culturally responsive and inclusive.
  • Support the development and implementation of literacy assessments and help interpret the data to drive instructional improvement.
  • Conduct classroom observations and provide actionable feedback to teachers.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop engaging and effective literacy interventions for students who are struggling with reading and writing.
  • Stay current with research and trends in literacy education to ensure the school's literacy program reflects best practices.
  • Engage with parents and the community to foster a culture of literacy both at school and at home.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree from an accredited university, a Bachelor of Education, PGCE, teaching license (QTS, national/state teaching license/certificate or equivalent), and three years of experience teaching in a bilingual school, international school, or government/state school.
