About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Four Seasons. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our public areas and guest rooms. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Director of Housekeeping in directing and maintaining the Public Area in accordance with Four Seasons' policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Plan, organize, and supervise the cleaning and maintenance of floors, including guest rooms, corridors, pantries, floor service areas, and fire escape stairs.
- Ensure complete knowledge of Four Seasons' Quality Standards, Service Standards, and Group Specifications.
- Develop and implement training programs for new employees and existing staff to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure that all public areas and guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning equipment, machinery, and supplies, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and used.
- Supervise the standard of work of contractors and ensure that all maintenance and repair work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Ensure that all guest complaints are handled efficiently and politely, and that all interactions with guests are handled professionally and with care.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize supply wastage and ensure that all supplies are used efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and a smooth working environment.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager who possesses:
- A minimum of 3 years of international class hotel working experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Good computer skills and ability to use hotel software systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
