• Handling tax-related activities, including tax registration, declarations, and reporting for various tax types such as sales tax, income tax, and value-added tax.

• Performing continuous validation of financial data to ensure compliance with reporting standards.

• Managing period-end processes, including valuations, reconciliations, and validating financial information and reports.

• Providing guidance and mentorship in accounting practices to colleagues and stakeholders.

• Identifying and addressing requirements and gaps in accounting solutions while effectively managing change.

• Supporting interim solutions during transition periods within your area of expertise.

Job Requirements:

• Strong ability to apply accounting knowledge to fulfill reporting requirements and comply with accounting standards (IFRS).

• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and reporting requirements.

• A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or a recognized accounting qualification.

• Relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting.

• A proactive approach to meeting deadlines and collaborating across teams to drive results.

• Ability to identify critical issues and process challenges as they arise.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.

• Proficiency in English, with additional language skills being advantageous.

• Familiarity with Valmet’s business model and operational practices is a plus.

• Strong documentation and presentation skills.

• Capacity to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive and motivating environment.
