Senior In-Car Test Engineer for Autonomous Drive

We are seeking a seasoned Senior In-Car Test Engineer to join our Autonomous Drive System Integration and Testing team. This role will be part of a dynamic crew that tests, measures, and maintains the performance and quality of complex heterogeneous computing systems powering automotive products used in self-driving cars.
This position will be responsible for developing and executing exploratory and large-scale in-car tests to ensure the self-driving car SW/HW stack meets high standards of quality. As a member of this core team, you will work with highly competitive and motivated engineers, frequently collaborating with Dev module leads and cross-matrix architects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and lead in-car test strategy and test plan to ensure software release as required.
- Design test cases based on product requirements and design test methods for proving ground and public road scenarios to ensure comprehensive metric and coverage testing for ADAS/AD Software features.
- Design test routes and perform large-scale in-car tests to ensure delivery quality meets the expectation of end-users, identifying and deriving corner cases from testing to improve coverage.
- Support test tooling teams to rapidly prototype solutions to unblock execution and work with relevant tooling/ops teams to productionize them in a manner consistent with the broader process/ecosystem.
- Review product requirements, develop test metrics, and establish KPI evaluation.
- Troubleshoot issues, collaborate with engineers to identify root causes, and contribute to QA process improvements.
- Strong in-car test leadership experience with 2+ years of leadership experience.
- 6+ years of experience in large-scale AV testing.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Technical in nature and able to zoom in and out of scope as needed from the lowest detail to high-level vision of the job.
- Prior experience in vehicle bring-up, verification, and validation testing at large scale.
- Prior experience on AD triage workflows.
- Able to influence and thrive in multi-functional teams.
- Proven large-scale in-car test experiences for self-development L2/L2++ product delivery.
- Background in developing or using autonomous vehicle simulators and their workflows.
- Experience specifying, developing, or working to Automotive Standards ISO26262, ISO21448.
