We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Multinational Corporate Banking team, driving business growth and expansion in China.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to deepen relationships with existing MNC clients, focusing on green structured finance, market risks, and cash management solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new MNC corporate clients and international financial sponsors in China, leveraging SG Global clients and investment banking expertise.
  • Collaborate with Global Relationship Managers to stay informed on local developments and opportunities, ensuring alignment with global account strategies.
  • Lead cross-selling initiatives across CIB products, working closely with business lines to identify, sell, and execute deals.
  • Supervise sales activities, ensuring a strict sales discipline and well-documented call plans.
  • Guide Credit Analysts to structure and price credit proposals properly, protecting the bank's interests while meeting global account strategies.
  • Monitor client portfolios, flagging early warning signals on counterparty and operational risks.
  • Work with Compliance and KYC teams to ensure proper KYC processes for new and existing clients.
  • Respond to enquiries from overseas SG locations on banking services in China.
Requirements:
  • At least 8 years' experience in investment or commercial banking, with 3+ years as a team manager, preferably with a major international bank.
  • Solid accounting, financial, and credit analysis skills.
  • Sound knowledge of bank products, particularly investment banking and commercial banking products.
  • Investment banking experience is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Good presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Team playing with leadership skills.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
  • Good PC skills in PPT, Word, Excel.
  • CFA or ACCA qualification is a plus.
