Position Overview

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at TE Connectivity is responsible for developing, interpreting, and executing financial strategies for effective financial oversight. This team conducts in-depth analyses to assess current and projected financial performance, compiles data, and formulates recommendations for financial strategies, acquisition initiatives, and operational forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Finance Rotation Associate, your duties may encompass:

  • FP&A: Support the completion of budgeting and long-term strategic planning cycles. Facilitate the monthly global planning and reporting processes, including the preparation of financial forecasts for operating expenses. Develop and sustain financial models to assist in monthly closing and budgeting processes. Conduct variance analyses to support month-end reporting to senior management and assist in quarterly business reviews.
  • Operations Finance: Aid in the preparation and presentation of regular reports on plant performance. Contribute to the annual budgeting process and monthly financial forecasts. Perform budget versus actuals variance analyses and prepare various financial schedules.
  • Internal Audit: Execute financial, operational, and compliance audits. Assess the adequacy of internal controls and ensure adherence to corporate policies.
  • Product Management Finance: Analyze business cases and support decision-making processes. Ensure financial logic aligns with project assumptions and identify potential financial risks.
  • Commercial Finance: Provide analytical support for commercial decision-making to enhance sales and profitability. Monitor sales performance and consolidate sales forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience through internships in multinational corporations.
  • International exposure through internships or studies is advantageous.
