As a key member of our team at Remote People, the Commercial Manager (Freight Forwarding) will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion in the freight forwarding industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets, focusing on key customer segments and market opportunities.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging markets.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer service.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales performance, customer satisfaction, and market share.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of strong experience in the container liner/shipping industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Language: English language proficiency is required.
