IP Legal Specialist

The position will involve working within the China Dispute Resolution Group and other practice groups to serve and expand our services to clients. The role will have responsibility for providing a full range of high-level IP legal services to the client and managing a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle the day-to-day conduct of individual cases and components of larger cases, under the direction and supervision of senior staff.
- Take responsibility for direct communications with clients and third parties.
- Supervise and support the work of junior staff and colleagues.
- Contribute individually, or in a team, to strategic planning and implementation of client casework and business development initiatives.
- Quickly demonstrate a command of relevant law and work to develop, implement, and monitor client development plans and report marketing initiatives.
- Support partners to generate more work and business development capability to write articles, presentations, speeches, and pitches.
- Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of experience in the IP field.
- Fluent in spoken and written English (equal to or above TEM 8 level).
- Good communication skills with different nationalities, backgrounds, and positions in a company.
- Strong organizational skills and project management skills.
- Patient, detail-minded, initiative, and self-disciplined.
- Can work under pressure, a team player.
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
