Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst, Legal to join our team at Edwards Lifesciences. This role will be responsible for providing critical support to attorneys and business units in the preparation and negotiation of complex contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and submission of specialized documents and projects
  • Independent composition of correspondence for attorneys
  • Review and analysis of communications from inventors and external entities
  • Conducting research and analysis of legal issues
  • Securing necessary signature/authorizations and approved documentation
  • Communication with internal clients and external vendors as needed

Commercial Contract Management:

  • Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating complex business contracts
  • Partnering with business units to implement contract strategies

Litigation Support:

  • Assisting attorneys in litigation and internal discovery
  • Implementing litigation holds and responding to subpoenas

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 9 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Additional Skills:

  • Professional certification preferred
  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Excellent independent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
  • Good ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Substantial knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to legal
  • Substantial knowledge of laws, rules, forms, and procedures
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
