Job Title: Store Director

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Store Director to lead our Balenciaga store in Shanghai. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales, visual merchandising, and client service, while ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales results and set up regular assessments to drive business growth.
  • Support the Store Director in reporting key performance indicators to HQ and share information with the store team.
  • Monitor the business environment, including local competition, and provide high-quality feedback and reports.
  • Implement action plans with the HQ and Flagship Store Director and ensure follow-up.
  • Update the store team on KPIs and provide support to reach targets.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment, embodying brand behaviors and ensuring the store team is aligned.
  • Motivate and challenge the team daily, supporting the Store Director in setting up team and individual activities.
  • Partner with the Store Director and Department Managers to handle employee issues.
  • Manage Department Managers and support them in their activities, assisting the Store Director and Department Managers with sales team development.
  • Share development plans with the Flagship Store Director and Operations Manager.
  • Behave as a Balenciaga Ambassador, promoting the culture of the brand internally and externally.
  • Oversee clienteling, ensuring the store atmosphere upholds brand image and supervising sales to ensure client satisfaction and engagement.
  • Follow up on CEE and NPS scores and set up actions accordingly.
  • Develop clienteling mindset and client loyalty and retention from beginners to VIC.
  • Assure the recruitment, development, and retention of clients, guaranteeing excellent client experience in line with Balenciaga signature.
  • Manage all delicate situations regarding client complaints and the overall sales process.
  • Build a network of people who have an impact on local and international luxury business to promote client loyalty, especially with VIC and VVICs.
  • Ensure all processes are in compliance with legal, safety, security, internal requirements, sustainability, and HR guidelines.
  • Ensure the image of the Store is in compliance with Balenciaga standards and that the store team is aligned and has access to resources.
  • Achieve and authorize planning, organize, and plan activities, providing available resources to manage the expected workload.
  • Take all necessary measures to guarantee the safety of products and valuable materials in the store.
  • Ensure execution of Retail Excellence guidelines in the store: front of house, back of house, team.
  • Support the Store Director in managing inventories activities, warehouse stock, and reports any discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory activities, taking into account related inventory results in collaboration with the Operations manager.
  • Manage warehouse stock and verify it is in line with the Store's sales potential.
  • Challenge and improve current processes, sustaining growth, and ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Supervise team planning.

Key Experiences:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a managerial position.
  • Significant experience in the sale of luxury goods or retail.
  • Successful managerial experience of a team, with the ability to set goals, delegate work, and follow up results.
