APAC Procurement Strategist

At ADM, we are seeking an experienced APAC Procurement Strategist to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires a strong understanding of procurement strategies and the ability to drive cost savings.

About the Role:

  • Liaise with business stakeholders to develop strategic sourcing plans for MRO, large equipment, packaging, and chemicals in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify reliable suppliers that meet the quality and safety standards of the food/feed and nutrition sectors.
  • Prepare cost benefit analyses and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best possible outcomes for ADM.
  • Act as an ambassador for APAC suppliers globally and promote their adoption at ADM locations.
  • Develop and maintain business cases for sourcing events and utilize advanced analytics tools to enhance decision-making processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with expertise in MRO, large equipment, packaging, and chemicals.
  • Fluent/Proficient in English is a must.
  • Experience in logistic management, global trade, and Forex practices is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions and with external partners and suppliers.
  • Understanding of Procure-to-Pay process, purchasing intelligence, and the ability to set priorities and manage aggressive assignments.
