• Overseeing period-end processes, including valuations, reconciliations, and validation of financial data and reports.

• Supporting interim solutions during transition periods within your area of expertise.

• Collaborating closely with Business Finance, Corporate Tax, and other relevant parties.

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in applying accounting knowledge to ensure compliance with reporting standards and regulations.

• In-depth understanding of accounting principles (IFRS), reporting requirements, and related regulations.

• A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or a recognized accounting qualification.

• Previous experience in financial accounting and reporting.

• A proactive approach to meeting deadlines and a willingness to engage with cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical skills to identify critical issues and process improvements.

• Excellent communication abilities to convey complex information effectively.

• Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages being a plus.

• Familiarity with Valmet's business model and operational methods is advantageous.

• Strong documentation and presentation skills.

• Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive and motivating environment for colleagues.
