Chief Financial Officer for ING China

The Chief Financial Officer for ING China will be responsible for overseeing the finance function, including financial, tax, and regulatory reporting, management accounting, and advice. This role will also involve managing a team of 7 members and focusing on the execution of the China finance strategy.

As the Chief Financial Officer, you will have statutory responsibilities to China regulators, including NFRA, PBOC, and others, for all finance matters. You will also play a key role in external audits and be a member of the China Management Team, Co-chair of China ALCO, and a member of China NFRC.

You will be result-oriented, with sound knowledge and experience in the Financial sector. You will excel at developing teams and individuals, approaching issues from analytical and strategic perspectives, and defining concrete solutions. You will be independent, able to work on multiple tasks, and proactively manage multiple stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing a robust finance strategy and functional plan to deliver effective financial operations across all businesses and functions in the company.
  2. Assuming financial end responsibility of the legal entities, managing and developing the finance team, and ensuring effective collaboration and a strong internal control environment.
  3. Managing the relationship with external and internal service providers that form part of the overall financial management framework.
  4. Delivering high-quality financial and regulatory reporting towards local regulators in a timely manner to ensure regulatory compliance and meeting relevant ING minimum standards.
  5. Timely and correct financial and tax accounting and reporting in compliance with local regulations, local GAAP, and IFRS in compliance with relevant ING minimum standards.
  6. Preparing, executing, and improving the planning and control cycle (budgeting, forecasting).
  7. Proactively advising local management teams and business teams on finance-related topics and collaborating cross-functions to ensure timely delivery of cross-function targets.
  8. Implementing ING finance strategy and driving change projects.
