About the Role

Coty, a world leader in beauty, is seeking a highly experienced Sales Director for Skincare to lead our sales strategy in China. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the profitability of our skincare brands, Orveda and Lancaster, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Management
    • Develop and execute retail sales plans to achieve fiscal year objectives, including market share growth and door ranking.
    • Develop and monitor sales forecasts, including sell-in and sell-through projections.
    • Direct national sales teams to ensure strategic business objectives are met and exceeded.
    • Manage relationships with key retailers, ensuring inventory mix and stock levels meet retail trends.
    • Collaborate with Marketing Managers to develop trade marketing programs, maximizing store productivity and profitability.
    • Ensure counters adhere to merchandising guidelines and hygiene standards.
    • Monitor and report sales and financial performances, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Team Management
    • Establish and lead a skincare sales organization, including recruiting, coaching, and supervising sales teams.
    • Set clear KPIs, salary, and commission structures for team members.
    • Regularly review sales performances, addressing concerns and implementing improvement actions.
    • Retain and develop top performers.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of sales experience in department store environments, with a focus on skincare.
  • Proven management experience leading regional or national sales forces.
  • Strong numeric and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
