Apparel Developer

We are seeking a skilled Apparel Developer to join our team at PUMA. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for independently developing assigned styles and collections in collaboration with design, PLM, and other cross-functional teams.
- Develop assigned styles and collections in cooperation with design, PLM, and other cross-functional teams.
- Ensure timely sample delivery and good sample quality, execution, and fitting.
- Drive proactive communication with internal and external teams to ensure a smooth product development process.
- Provide inputs, comments, and suggestions to achieve higher product value.
- Ensure timely product finalization and approval prior to bulk order placement.
- Prepare, maintain, and follow up on necessary documents, including style specifications, size tables, fabric and trim selection, fitting and sealing comments.
- Ensure timely data administration in Puma's Product Range Management system and related IT systems.
- Review and negotiate costs with garment suppliers to achieve best possible FOB/margins.
- Activate cost benchmarking activities for high-volume styles to achieve FOB competitiveness.
- University degree or similar education with a focus on textile/garment technology.
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a textile/garment industry with good knowledge in apparel.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication language skills.
- Able to work independently and effectively under pressure.
- Adaptable to a dynamic environment.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently with a proactive mindset.
- PC literate (Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and Internet).
- Team player with strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
