About the Role

Cummins Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Utilize warehousing tools, systems, and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations of a warehouse.
  • Inventory Management: Manage physical inventory utilizing inventory control methodologies to maintain inventory and meet customer expectations.
  • Trade Knowledge Application: Apply knowledge of relevant trade regulations to Cummins processes and systems to minimize trade risks and costs.
  • Mode Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate transportation mode and equipment type by lane through shipment volume analysis against business requirements to provide optimal shipping method (balance cost, quality and time).
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • Experience: Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third party logistics provider management.
