The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our elementary and middle school teams, overseeing student admission and placement, and ensuring the effective day-to-day management of the school.

Key Responsibilities

Administration

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the school management team

• Oversee student admission and placement in consultation with the Executive Principals

• Manage student records, facilities, and daily operational matters

• Deploy teachers and assign their responsibilities in consultation with the Executive Principal

• Foster strong relationships and cooperation between the school and parents

• Identify and cultivate leadership among staff

• Liaise with the Executive Principals to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory matters

• Lead regular staff meetings and contribute to strategic planning

Academic

• Coordinate curriculum planning, development, and implementation

• Teach subjects and oversee curriculum delivery

• Coordinate ongoing curriculum mapping, development, and evaluation

• Oversee disciplinary matters involving students

• Monitor staff performance and curriculum delivery

• Plan for staff professional development

General

• Develop and maintain high standards of staff performance and professionalism

• Promote respect, courtesy, and teamwork among students and staff

• Liaise with the School Leadership Board and Executive Staff

• Support promotion and student recruitment

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, alumni, and stakeholders

• Oversee the review and maintenance of school handbooks and policies

• Ensure the health, welfare, and safety of staff and students

Requirements

• Master degree or higher in Education Administration/Leadership

• Master degree or higher in Teaching/Education

• Minimum three years experience in education administration

• Minimum five years experience in Secondary teaching

• Excellent human relationship skills

• Deep understanding of Chinese and Western culture

• Demonstrated ability to plan and implement
