Strategic Investment Advisor for High Net Worth Clients

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.In this role, you will:
- Provide in-depth investment support, education, and guidance to clients, prospects, and Relationship Managers.
- Assess client needs, experience, expectations, and risk tolerance to deliver tailored solutions.
- Deliver timely CIO market updates and house views, providing clear tactical strategies to Relationship Managers to enhance their functional competencies and professionalism.
- Develop comprehensive investment strategies and asset allocations suited to clients' specific requirements.
- Coordinate the execution of investment strategies with suitable products and services.
- Maintain accurate monitoring of client portfolios for performance, appropriateness, and opportunity.
- Keep clients and prospects informed on investment insights.
- Contribute to the development of new business initiatives and product enhancements.
- Identify and communicate issues or limitations related to products, platforms, operations, systems, or pricing.
- Stay updated on competitor investment capabilities, product offerings, and pricing policies.
- Ensure integrity of sales processes and compliance with all HSBC and regulatory policies.
- Maintain HSBC's internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points, along with any issues raised by external regulators.
- Participate in additional projects, initiatives, or role transfers assigned by line managers.
Requirements:
- To succeed in this role, you should possess a Master's degree or CFA designation, with at least 10 years of experience as an Investment Counsellor or Relationship Manager in foreign banks related to investment business.
- You should have an excellent track record of sales results on investment business, experience in portfolio management, brokerage, or institutional sales is valuable.
- Extensive knowledge of private banking business onshore and/or offshore is essential.
- You must be client-focused, with strong sales, analytical, technical, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong negotiation, complex problem resolution, communication, and presentation skills (written and oral) are required.
- Sound judgment, keen sense of urgency, and high level of professional and personal integrity are necessary.
- Able to work under pressure as a good team player.
- AMAC qualification is mandatory; SAC qualification is desirable.
- Fluency in both English and Chinese (writing and speaking) is essential.
Estimated Salary: RMB 800,000 - RMB 1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
