About the Role
This position is to support the development of language applications, including system design, programming, unit testing, and system integration testing. This role may also mentor engineers and specialists for system development.
Key Responsibilities:
- We need to collaborate with customers to understand their requirements.
- Assist the Project Owner in providing estimation and scheduling.
- Draft technical specifications according to business requirements.
- Perform programming and unit testing.
- Fix system and integration testing defects promptly, deliver services with quality, and within timeline.
- Mentor and support information engineers for system development.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by the supervisor to meet operational and/or other requirements.
Requirements:
- Be professional in Computer Science or IT-related field.
- Be dedicated to related languages or platforms, such as Cloud platforms, Linux/Windows/Unix platforms, Web/mobile applications.
- Have 3+ years of experience in database and SQL, including DB2 and Oracle.
- Have knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Have a good command of both written and spoken English.
- Be a hard-working person and quick learner.
- Have problem-solving skills.
- Having experience in insurance is preferable.
