Job Title: Business Operations Manager

Amazon Global Selling is a key initiative to achieve our vision to offer customers the Earth's largest selection around the world. We provide businesses the opportunity to sell their goods on the Amazon platform worldwide. Each year, tens of thousands of businesses join our Marketplace in 10+ countries, adding millions of new products. More than 2 million Sellers use this Marketplace, exceeding 40% of total Amazon unit sales and growing.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing critical support to accelerate sales and business operations. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the delivery of timely business operations and high-quality work products
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify issues, manage key business operations processes, set priorities, provide systematic solutions, and drive execution excellence
  • Leverage data tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Salesforce.com to manage and optimize sales opportunities
  • Work relentlessly to improve existing processes and use data-driven decision making to make recommendations for systems, process, and business improvements
  • Develop SOPs, workflows, metrics, reports, or other analytical tools to maximize productivity
  • Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-offs, balance business needs versus technical constraints, and encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in sales operations, program management, data analysis, or other related fields
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with professional experience with Excel/SQL; ability to handle data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop tools, and evaluate outcomes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese, with a track record of presenting to senior management
  • Excellent process management skills in handling priorities and deliverables against deadlines
  • Ability to work across multiple teams to create scalable solutions to interpret key performance metrics into actionable recommendations
  • Excels at delivering results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Master's degree in relevant fields
  • Experience with the development and implementation of systems/tools utilized for CRM, reporting, forecasting, sales force automation, etc.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools
  • Ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people, and systems to invent, simplify, and improve inefficient or unnecessarily complex processes
  • Demonstrate ability to influence over authority to drive project deliverables
  • Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where tactical and strategic initiatives are driven in parallel
