Job Title: Business Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Controller to join our team at Bureau Veritas Group. As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our China Wireless business, ensuring the achievement of strategic targets and effective management of investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various departments to lead the yearly budget and rolling forecast process.
  • Identify and highlight risks and opportunities to management, ensuring proactive decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze actual versus budget/forecast, preparing cost analysis, KPI dashboards, productivity reports, and benchmark analysis.
  • Develop and present financial summaries and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Review and monitor Capex (ROI, actual vs. budget, accurate reporting) for China wireless.
  • Translate operational language into financial management (IFRS & PRC GAAP).
  • Work closely with the Central Fin SSC team and Accounting team to ensure compliance with BV Accounting rules (MAG) and Division policies.
  • Support projects requested by RFC or China Wireless GM.
  • Perform ad-hoc work requested by Function Leader.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. CMA certification is a plus.
  • Operational finance experience, preferably working across multiple entities and/or functional areas.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with a positive personality and team spirit.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong motivation and result-oriented.
  • Willingness to work hard during peak times.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PPT.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and oral).
