•    Lead, mentor and manage the HK Payments Team.


•    Perform daily payment tasks whenever required (e.g., acting as a checker).


•    Work closely with the Singapore Payments Team to align payment processes and provide support to Asia clients as a regional team. 

•    Establish clear procedures and directives to ensure smooth operations and mitigate operational risk.

•    Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovation and adoption of best practices.

•    Stay informed about industry developments and proactively seek opportunities to enhance the payment process.

•    Drive or participate in payment-related system changes.

•    Work closely with other stakeholders to ensure the payment process is smooth.

•    Prepare regular management reports on payment operations.

Requirements


•   University degree holder


•   At least 10 years of experience in payments department in private banking sector preferred, with at least 5 years of leadership experience


•   Good knowledge in SWIFT and RTGS, relevant HKMA requirements and HKICL processes


•   Knowledge in FPS, FTS, IVS and RMA exchange would be an advantage


•   Effective team management skills.


•   Mature personality with good inter-personal and communication skills


•   Flexible with the ability to adapt and develop solutions for different situations


•   Well-verse in Microsoft 365


•   Self-motivated and willing to work overtime when required
